Col d'Aspin Early morning sunrise.
Just after sunrise on the Col d'Aspin. The heat of the sun is starting to evaporate the clouds that, for a while, are covering these Pyrenean mountains.
Around halfway up the climb, the road turns around this little hilltop with a tree and a tiny hayfield, almost back on itself before continuing its uphill trajectory. Allowing you to view back down the valley you have just climbed. Is this not heaven?
Considering the immense scale and detail of these mountain landscapes, we recommend choosing an A1 print or larger to appreciate the image's impact fully.
