They do it for the challenge. They do it because they can, for the thrill of it, for the kudos, for the buzz. For the sense of elation that comes with being in the middle of a landscape so impressive it takes your breath away. To know without a shadow of a doubt, this is a good day, a great day, a day to remember, a day that counts.
