The Furka Pass - Hotel Belvédère

The Rhône river rises from the Rhône Glacier, which can be seen on the left of the picture. The Rhône Glacier has shrunk dramatically due to climate change since around 1900, when the glacier reached the valley bottom.
The abandoned Hotel Belvédère, sitting high up on what looks like the world's edge, adds a poignant focus to the overwhelming sense of something lost.
Considering the immense scale and detail of these mountain landscapes, we recommend choosing an A1 print or larger to appreciate the image's impact fully.
For reference, the room-set photograph shown above features an A0-size print, illustrating how the artwork appears in an interior setting.
All prints are supplied unframed. Frames for standard A3 to A0 sizes are widely available from online and high-street retailers.
As is standard practice, all sizes quoted refer to the overall paper size, including the image, title, and white border.
The image dimensions will vary occasionally from print to print, depending on the individual crop and composition of each photograph.

I love so many of these pictures it was difficult to narrow it down. Went for the Black and White Alpe d'Huez hairpin in the end. Classic picture.
