Gifts for cyclists, cycling photography prints. Cycling Art.
The Tour de France goes up the Col du Tourmalet almost every year, sometimes twice. It is the most visited of all the mountain passes the Tour visits. This has much to do with its location right in the middle of the Pyrenees. In fact, it's quite difficult not to go up the Tourmalet, as there isn't any way around it.
The Tourmalet is a monster, from the east it's steep, from the west, it's wild and open and long and steep. This is a monster with teeth, and I am not the only one to have been bitten.
If you have been there, put it on your wall to remind yourself, and others, how far you have come. If you haven't been there, put it on your wall to remind yourself, and others, of how far you still have to go.
For the cyclist in your life
It's important to remember when buying gifts for cyclists they're fanatics. It comes with the territorial. Don't expect them to be normal. To them, cycling 27km. up a mountain for no apparent reason is normal, they do it to stay normal, at least on the outside.
They do it for the challenge, they do it because they can, for the thrill of it, for the buzz. They do it for the incredible sense of elation that comes with being in the middle of a landscape so impressive it takes your breath away. To know without a shadow of a doubt that this is a good day, a great day, a day that counts. Who doesn’t want that in their life?
