Col de la Colombière - Northside
Towards the top of the Col de la Colombière, two riders dig deep. They can’t see the top yet, but they can feel it. The pain is almost done, doubts that have filled their heads for what seems like hours will soon be banished. To be replaced with never again, I’m not doing this anymore, that's it, I'm done.
Until the next time, and there will be a next time, there’s always a next time. Because if you can climb the Col da la Colombiere, you are a hero and can climb anything. So banish your demons and pack your bags for the Galibier.
