The final stretch of the Col de la Croix de Fer takes you past the Chalet Col du Glandon, a French restaurant situated at the crossroads of the Col du Glandon and the Col de la Croix de Fer. This is the last milestone before the top of the Croix de Fer. I wouldn't recommend stopping on the way up, much better when on the way down.
